Chief of Training

Caleb Collins - A&P

Caleb Collins, J&G Aviation’s Chief of Training, is a certified Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) with an uncanny ability to drill down on a problem to get to the root cause.  He is an all-around skilled mechanic and has a particular passion for working piston engines.  Caleb is in charge of all training at J&G, both for our apprentices as well as our ongoing Continuing Education (CE) for all of our mechanics and apprentices.

Caleb joined the United States Air Force (USAF) immediately upon graduation from high school and spent the next 6 years as a crew chief and maintainer on USAF F-15’s, serving both overseas and in the United States.  Upon separating from the USAF, he enrolled and graduated from a Part 147 aviation maintenance program and subsequently tested and received his A&P certification.

Caleb grew up in northeast Texas and his happy to be “back home.  When he’s not wrenching, Caleb enjoys grilling (he is the “designated J&G griller”) and fishing.
